Having the exact same problem so just tried that solution and it makes no difference whatsover !!!!

Any update on this ? I have the same problem on a windows 10 laptop. Ive uninstalled several times and still the same, it loads and goes to the Setup screen within the app then just closes. So frustrating when you spen £850 on a new trainer then the crappy piece of software wont work and the support...
