Elite Qubo Digital Smart B+ magnet cart stuck

hi, a well used trainer but now on start up makes an awful grinding noise and using the elite app to test it the resistance increases but will not decrease. the cart which carries the magnet gets stuck and the spindle from the motor simply spins. i did read on a zwift thread that a new cart could be sent out, is that possible? really cannot afford a new trainer right now. help would be appreciated
