Loud beeping sounds (regulation of the resistance?) during training and continuously in ERG mode?

Hello,
I have a problem with my Elite Direto. The coach makes very loud beeping sounds when switched on. These sounds are also heard at the same volume during the entire training (Zwift or My E-Training). In addition, the coach runs according to my opinion, continuously in ERG mode. That's why I think so, because the Direto, for example, regulates the resistance even when driving freely under Zwift. In addition, he beeps continuously even when driving freely.
Are the beeping noises (I think it is the regulation of the resistance?) Normal in this volume?
How can I turn ERG mode off?
I have already contacted the service, but maybe the problem is already known here?
