Fast sudden powerdrop with slightly higher cadence

Hi
When I go for a target watt, i get stable say with lets say 75rpm and this watt after some time, lets say 170W.
Now when I slighly accelerate from this more or less steady state, which raises watt of course a bit, the xr is regulating back the resistance quite fast and too much, so I end up with 150W very fast (<3 seconds). It´s "over-regulating" very quickly. And now it takes awful long time, say ~20 seconds to adjust resistance that I´m back at 170W.
Can this behaviour be improved? Is there a parameter to control the resistance adjustment for too much and/or too less?
Because the power curve is so spikey, I use max smoothing of 10 but I think this is only for display?
thx 4 help
Best regards
Stefan
