Drop connection ANT+ - EVENT_RX_FAIL ch(1)

Postby carlosfernandezlosada » Fri Jan 26, 2018 10:38 am

I just bought an Elite Drivo. It is impossible to maintain a constant power; I keep the same cadence with the same resistance and the power drops 20-30 watts suddenly and then returns to the correct power.
This makes it impossible to correctly use the wattage measurement.
Using the log viewer of the Real (desktop) application, I can see how there are the following errors:

Code: Select all

En el log de Zwift también aparecen errores de conexión:

Code: Select all

The computer performance test is correct.

Initially I thought it could be the distance of the ANT + receiver with the Elite Drivo. I bought a USB extender cable and put the ANT + receiver provided by Elite a few centimeters from Drivo and the result is the same.
I have another ANT + receiver and the result is the same.

I have disconnected all the Bluetooth devices (sports watch, mouse, keyboard) that are around and I still have problems.

I have changed the USB port and the problems continue.

I tested with my Garmin 520 on the handlebar and the same problem; do the FTP test it is impossible to lose watts suddenly.

The Drivo is new, I bought it 7 days ago.

Any solution?

Hi

Oscillation of 20-30W are absolutely normal and real. The precision of Drivo allows you to see it.
Please take a look at this thread, we've already posted some graphs to illustrate the situation:
