Rampa values too high with Garmin Fenix

Postby przemas75 » Tue Oct 10, 2017 11:45 pm

Hi, using android app everything seems to be fine, but when i try to use my Garmin Fenix3, values like speed from cadence/speed sensor from Rampa is way too high. Its like 200km/h....
I know i must change circumference for the sensor in Fenix3, but i have no clue what value should be inserted.
My watch is with latest firmare, for sensor connected from Rampa ihave two fields in wheel size.
First with values starting 1 to 99mm and the second field is the sam (1-99mm).
I have tried this:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0By4rZv ... 1tUzg/view
but how i should input 62mm in Fenix3? (only values 1-99 for both fields).

Hi

To have correct values, you should insert the roller circumference, that is 62mm as you've written.
I suggest you to contact Garmin directly and ask them if there's a way to insert a lower value.

I pushed a little bit Garmin Support and they made a new firmware - 4.90 for Garmin Fenix 3 HR
https://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=10013
They fixed an issue where one could not set the wheel size to a value less than 100mm when working with a trainer.

The same situation is with Garmin Fenix 3. The made a new firmeware 8.90 covering the same problem/solution.

Have a good cycling with Elite Rampa and Garmin Fenix 3 watch ;-)
