Hello
New to the Turno and the smart trainers after more then 20 years on a well used Tackx. I installed the Turno last week and had a few rides on it. The only thing I notice is that, or something is not quite well installed or my general form has gone back a gazillion leagues.
Is there a possibility that the tension is not correct and that this generates more resistance. I'm riding on a 11-25 cassette and a 42-52 chainring in front. I constantly have to ride 42-21, 23 or 25 to keep me going and then again it feels like agony.
If there is a basic tension for the bolts regulating the belt, I would love to know. In this way I can put them to this basic tension, test and see what it gives me.
But it doesn't quite feel well that I can't manage to produce a regular feeling on the trainer. Like currently warming up and cooling down isn't really possible.
Any tips on using the Turno are welcome as well.
thanks
Cheers
Kevin

Hi
Please remember that Turno is not a simulator.
Its power curve grows up quickly.
Look at this document that explains how to approach this kind of trainer:

Thank you for this overview. Is it also possible to give me the Torque on the bolts? Then I can verify if this is correctly aligned see what it gives. If it requires adjustments in riding style then I'm good with that.
It's my first experience in the direct drive department.

Hi Kevin
If you feel that the power is not correct, the best thing to do is a comparison with an external power sensor.
Do you have one? Or do you have a friend that can lend it to you to do a test?

I don't have one and should see who of my friends has one, if any have them.
Thanks
