I've been using my Nero since January 2022 and I've tapped the plastic housing to the side of the front roller enough times with my front wheel that the rubber sidewall on my tire has abraded a groove in to the plastic housing. This housing needs to be built tougher to be able to withstand occasional abrasion from the tyre. Any tips on how to better protect it? Is this part replaceable if it gets really bad?

You shouldn't have any groove into the drum, it's quite strange.
There may be some rubber, that can be cleaned, but not a groove.

About the drum, I reassure you that it is possible to replace them.
