Virtual Gearing - Firmware upgrade to accommodate, please

Can you please upgrade the firmware to allow integration with the Zwift virtual gearing devices, or else build your own virtual gearing device? I loathe getting out of ERG mode because the gearing shifts are so loud and clunky - it wakes up the creatures (human and canine) when do early morning training rides.
