video and slope locks up during ride

A few times I've been riding on my Nero rollers doing a RealVideo and the video will freeze up, and the slope and resistance will lock in at the value I was at in that moment. However if I keep pedaling the speed, distance and cadence will continue on as normal, and the red triangle on the elevation profile will continue to move along. There seems to be no way to unfreeze the ride without ending the workout.

My question is: is there any known reason that causes this? Does it come from how it was downloaded? Are there any known bugs that cause the video to freeze? Or ways to unfreeze it mid-ride?

It seems a disconnection.
If you do a different kind of training (a program for example), do you have the same issue?
If you use a different device (a smartphone, a pc...) do you have the same problem?

I couldnt seem to get the programs to work, I probably need to work on that some more.
Only have one device to use it on, iphone XR
I started using kinomap and have never had a problem, so I don't think it's a disconnection issue.
