Suito T Bluetooth connection issue

Hello,

I bought Suito T sopme weeks before and was struggling to connect to it. My old mobile phone (OnePlus 5) was connecting without any issue. But a some days before bought Blutooth 5.0 dongle was not able to see it. Finally an Elite ANT+ dongle solved the issue. What exactl Bluetooth standard should be supported by the dongle? Bluetooth LE? Bluetooth smart? Can you recommend any product which is supporting it? I'm suing a desktop PC without Bluetooth integration.
