Hi
Just bought Rampa and have a question.
On training mode with MyeTraining app i get speed and distance difference with Rampa and wired bike computer
The difference is about 7-8% (readings from Rampa is lower).
The wheel is 700x35C, 2168mm (i checked myself three times)
The circumference is defult and set to 62.83
Any ideas how to get same resoults on trainer and bike computer ?

Re: Rampa speed and distance difference
Hi
The speed in the app is calculated on the number of half turns of the roller. As the app know the dimension of the roller, the speed lecture is very precise. It may be wrong only if the tire is slipping on the roller.
If you notice this, please follow these instructions:
- put the red lever in the fixing plate in open position
- unscrew the screw until there's no contact with the wheel
- verify that the wheel is properly inflated
- turn the screw until the roller touch the tire again
- press a little the wheel onto the roller to check if the contact is well done
- do an extra 1/4 turn to have a good contact
- put the lever in close position
If there is no slipping and you still have differences in speed, check the circunference value you've set in the bike computer. Consider that when you press the wheel on the roller, the wheel is a little deformed in the contact point and this means that you have to decrease a little the circumference value you're using.
If you've verified all and still you notice a difference in speed, please contact us at [email protected] to investigate further the situation (add a link to this discussion for reference)
