Rouvy FTP test - impossible resistance spike

Good evening all,

I have an elite Drivo and had been impressed until tonight when i attempted an FTP test through Rouvy. The test started off ok with power required around 125W, when the FTP kicked in it wanted sustained at 250 which was fine for about 10 mins until my trainer started to increase resistance to the point that i bombed out whilst knocking out 500+watts trying to turn the crank over. WTF is going on?

I then power cycled the unit and tried to run a seperate workout which had sustained effort followed by small spikes of high intensity. On the third spike, resistance increased to the point i couldnt turn the crank again?!?

Can someone help???

I have the same issue, did you ever resolve the problem?

ERG mode is really only of use below your FTP. So I would recommend that you turn off ERG over 250w (or whatever your FTP is)
