Hi all,
I have a Elite Tuo and my bike is a hybrid with a 700c with 35c trainer tyre.
Following DC Rainmaker's instructions I tried the <28" installations but as far back as the trainer would go, it was too tight for the wheel (i.e. the roller should be lightly skimming the wheel before clamping).
I then tried the > 28" installation. At first I managed to get my bike in OK, but after like 30 mins when I tried calibrating it, I couldn't get the roller close enough.
Which installation method should I be using and does anyone have any tips for getting my bike in properly?
Thanks.

I am having exactly the same tires and same issue. I initially installed >28" because it was default instruction and I had no idea about size of my tires
It worked pretty well, on hard sessions, standing position etc. Although I couldn't get calibration working
Today I changed position to <28 and calibration finished fine, although I haven't tried to do my workout yet.

Thanks!
How did you manage to get the roller back far enough? I can't seem to get it back far enough to get the trainer clamped to the frame?

Having the same issue here trying to setup.
Tire is 27.5", if I use <28" I can't bring the frame close enough to lock it in because the tire hits the roller, if I use >28" I can lock it in but not bring the roller close enough :/
Any help? Roller still comes to contact when I bring it in, but feels like it's not giving enough traction.

Hi
Before fixing the bike, you have to move back the unit of resistance using the knob.
Here's two interesting articles on how to fix it properly:

Ok I've figured it out,
I had to manually push the unit with my hands to bring it backwards after rotating the knob anti-clockwise when using the <28" slot.
