username must match email or the FORUM

I discovered by accident that If I create an account on Elite forum, which does not have a username that is the SAME as the email address, it will create an account that is disabled.

I tried to leave a message about this problem to the web-master, but didnt get a response.

So, hopefully someone else will see this.

Workaround:

Create an account with another email address and forget about the bad email. Let the Elite administrators clean up the mess.

Tip- if you have a gmail account, aded the special charater "+" to the end of the name of the gmail account --
eg.

[email protected] - the actual email address
[email protected] - will redirect to the address [email protected]
[email protected] - any characters after the + are ignored by gmail, so this would work as well.
