Hi Elite,
I have an Elite Rampa and use it with Zwift but experience 5 second lag when transitioning from slope to flat and vice versa.
This not a great experience and I would like to find out how to eliminate or at least reduce it.
I have a very fast gaming computer and excellent business fibre broadband with no contention.
I (and others) have spoken with Zwift who claim it is a hardware issue with the trainer and can sometime be resolved with a firmware update.
Can you please help?
Many thanks,
Veritas
Rampa + Zwift = 5 second lag, solution?

Hi
Inside the trainer, there is a stepping motor that moves the magnetic arm that regulate the trainer resistance.
Clearly, the stepping motor needs some seconds to adjust the resistance moving in the requested position, expecially if the resistance variation is high.
So, this is intrinsic in the trainer design characteristics.
